Gull Island /Kachemak Bay Cruise
Join us for a narrated cruise to the famous bird rookery at Gull Island. This is a great way to see puffins, cormorants, kittiwakes and other seabirds while you learn about their diets, habits and migratory patterns. Watch for sea otters and an occasional whale as you cruise Kachemak Bay. In addition to Gull Island you will cruise to 60 foot rock and into Eldred Passage and Tutka Bay. This trip is a favorite of everyone from avid photographers to those just looking for a good time on the water. You won’t want to miss this cruise.

You will cruise along on the Northern Star, a Coast Guard inspected vessel, that is enclosed to keep you warm and cozy while providing you a great view through large windows. There is also an opportunity to go outside while at Gull Island so that you can take pictures and see the birds up close. Boat departs at 1 p.m. and returns by 3:30 p.m. The cost is $80 for adults and $30 for children under 12 years old. Family and large group prices available.
